Somatic Awareness

The body carries wisdom the mind has learned to distrust.

For so much of my life, I lived almost entirely in my thinking mind, solving, managing, pushing through, while my body quietly carried what I had learned to override. Somatic awareness is the practice of coming back into relationship with the body: learning its language, trusting its signals, and letting it lead the way toward safety rather than treating it as something to silence.

There’s no particular state to achieve here, no practice to do perfectly. Just presence: a willingness to feel what’s actually here, in this moment, in this body, as the foundation for everything else.
