About the BLOG

Hi, I’m Amanda.

Maybe you’ve been holding it together for so long you’ve forgotten what it feels like not to.

Maybe the exhaustion goes deeper than rest can reach, or something is shifting in your body that no one is talking about honestly. Maybe you’ve done everything right and still find yourself wondering — is this all there is?

If any of that is landing somewhere in you, you’re in the right place.

For years, I lived in service to others — as an attorney, a nonprofit director, a voice for those the system too often forgets. I was capable and committed and I did not stop, because stopping felt like failure and failure was not an option.

The unraveling was slow, then sudden. And it was the beginning of everything shifting.

What I thought was “just stress” revealed itself as full-body burnout, braided tightly with the unspoken changes of perimenopause. The turning point came in the smallest acts of defiance: choosing rest, saying no, slowing down. I began unlearning the belief that my worth was measured by output or sacrifice. I asked myself, What do I truly need to feel whole?

Over time, that question led me back to my body, my inner knowing, and the parts of myself I had long suppressed to meet the expectations of others.

Today, I no longer advocate within the systems I once worked in. I offer my presence as a witness and companion to women returning to themselves — women reclaiming their inner wisdom and creating lives rooted in depth, rest, and renewal.

Source & Stream is the place I built for that work — a gathering place for women in their own seasons of change. Whether you’re navigating the exhaustion of burnout, the disorientation of perimenopause, or the quiet pull toward a life that feels more true, you’re welcome here.

Here, I share personal reflections, and the tools and practices that have helped me heal, reconnect with my authentic self, and rediscover my place in something larger.

This isn’t a place that will tell you how to fix yourself. You are not broken. You are becoming.

May this be a place where your own questions find room to breathe and your own becoming has space to unfold.

If you want to know more about my own journey — the thresholds I crossed, what the healing actually looked like, and what I believe is possible for women like us — I’d invite you to read The Healing Never Stops. It Only Deepens.

There’s no one right way to do this. But it helps to have a place to begin.

I’m glad you’re here.

xoxo, Amanda
